Not many people make it back at 96 with a fall and broken bones, we were fortunate to be at The Pines. The Pines at Philadelphia is a beautiful facility that truly cares for each and every patient. The staff, and especially the administrator are extremely attentive to all their residents’ needs. I am very happy that my aunt is in this home for her recovery needs, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for themselves or their loved one to recover.

Since this was during the covid pandemic I was not able to visit her. I was however keep completely apprised of my sisters progress thanks to Tanya (social worker) and Alexis (nursing supervisor). My mom was there for rehab before and after a heart procedure. We knew about the facility because my dad spent some time there last year and the staff was great with him.. For my mom, the staff was very good with her and she was very happy with the treatment she received from Derek and Troy on a daily basis and would have taken both of them home with her if she could. I also cannot say enough about Katie the nurse manager. She and I spoke many times by phone or text when there were things that needed to be done or if I had questions about things and she took care of it. Those with certain disabilities or diseases have more obstacles to overcome when searching for a quality assisted living home.
When I arrived, the first person I encountered at the desk was Rose. She is someone who communicates well and takes the time to answer all your questions. The next staff member I met was Katie, she is one of the nurses and kept me updated on my Mother’s progress. Geanine is the social worker and she provided helpful information.
